Production editing

In our small team, I handle the editing part. It's not just about joining clips; it's about making them fit well and look good.First, I watch all the footage we have. I pick out the best bits that match our story. Then, I use editing software to put everything together. I cut, trim, and arrange the clips to tell our story smoothly.Transitions matter too. I try out different effects to make sure scenes flow nicely.I also check the sound, making sure voices are clear, music sets the mood, and sound effects fit. While I'm busy editing, another team member works on the script. They research, brainstorm ideas, and write the dialogue. We talk a lot during the process, giving feedback and making sure everything fits well together.Editing takes time, so I go through it a few times to get it right.Once we're happy with the final product, we share it with the team for feedback before making any final changes. It feels good to see our hard work pay off. From start to finish, we work together to make something we're proud of.Editing isn't just about technical stuff; it's about being creative and patient too.As part of the team, I'm proud of what I do to bring our stories to life.Even though editors might not always be in the spotlight, our work is important to make sure the final product is great. In the media world, editors like me are the ones who work behind the scenes to make things happen.
