1: Our advertisement uses conventions as in spreading kindness and friend ship in any community. Based on primary groups coca cola seems like a loving and kind brand tht cares about spreading kindness compared to other brands. Most of their commercials spread positivity and kindness. 2: Our product engages the audience by inspiring them to be kind and spread kindness. That's the marketing strategy why not support a brand that cares and stands behind positivity. 3: I knew basic information on editing but it gets complex especially with coloring and transitions from clip to clip. Finding a professional and cheap editing app was a mission and an app that was really meant for beginners.  4: We used an app called iMovie it was a pretty basic layout that categorizes everything as in coloring, transition, and shadows. Our main trouble was figuring out and adjusting the brightness. After 3o minutes we figured it out and proceeded with finalizing.

For editing it was hard for us to figure out the time requirement on our videos. Our solution was to make a longer outro and slow down all the clips. Since we also needed a song for our video i spent a few minutes looking around Spotify. Since our video was filmed on the beach I had the idea of picking a tropical song and relaxing because it would fit the mood of our commercial. I landed on three little birds by Bob Marley. After exploring all kinds of tropical music Bob Marley stuck out to me because of his voice and the kind of tropical music he makes. Bob is from an island himself. After song choice it was time to figure out how to put the logo onto the end of our video. After my group mate chose a specific editing software we got the coca cola logo onto the end of our commercial. We decided to put " Share a coke with a friend " at the end to symbolize what the entire commercial was about. We used I Movie for our editing software which is a free app on iPhone. We also had

Me and my group mate started by creating a story board to visualize our ideas and interests with this project. After the process of deciding which ideas we were going to bring into production we got to work. We first started after school to go to the beach and start filming. On the way to the beach we went to a local Publix to pick up the bottled coke. Trying to find parking at the beach was a journey it took abut 20 minutes! After we found 15 dollar parking it was another 5 minute walk to the beach not bad but very hot. The first show took a few tries to get it how we wanted it as a continuous shot. During that day we took multiple breaks because of how hot it was. Since it was very hot outside it was very refreshing to drink some of the coca cola. In between shots and planning we were throwing around a foot ball to have some fun. We sat under a palm tree looking back on our story board. We were looking back at our story board for a scene we almost forgot about. I had to get into my

For the planning of our commercial we started by brainstorming and studying previous coca cola advertisements. During the week is usually when I don't have any free time. Me and my group-mate compromised and decided on a Thursday after school. We also wanted to use some props like Mexican coca cola to show a more beauty vibe. Some costumes we wore were bathing suits on the beach. And sunglasses and beach atire. We decided to discuss our plan for a day and move onto filming and then compete it in a total of 4 days. A list of locations were the beach and or a parking garage. For example one of the scenes will portray a castaway long ashore line to show how exhausted and dehydrated he is demonstrate them being tired and unconscious. Another scene will show a group mate  setting up a towel and area on the beach. we decided to meet up before filming. Since we wanted to meet up up and discuss final shots and get prepared. After school on Thursday we decided to stop and buy the coca col

Story Board

First scene: The scene will start with a tracking shot of someone walking to the beach. This will also be an over the shoulder type of shot. The person will be looking around finding a spot to set up their area. The clothing will be beach attire, with a bathing suit, towels, maybe a beach chair and what not. Our main prop will be a cooler filled with ice and Coca Colas. Second scene: The next scene will included the same person sitting at their already set up area looking out to the beach. This shot will be a medium long shot of the person sitting. In this scene they will look confuse as the see someone. They will stand up and the camera will not move as we change into our next scene.  Third scene: The shot will be positioned in a high angle but still being an over the shoulder shot. The first subject mentioned will be poking the second subject on the shore of the beach. In this scene the props needed will be a stick. The second subject will need to act distressed, tired, and most i

Props: The main prop we will be using is glass Coca Cola bottles, since that is what we will be producing. Some of the other props we will use are beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler with ice and Coke bottles, and bathing suits for our outfits. Costumes: Since our commercial in going to be based on the beach we will wear bathing suits. Maybe sunscreen, sunglasses, or a beach hat can be worn. As for the other subject they can wear swim trunks, makeup to show him being dirty or tired. Their hair can also be messed up to show that effect. Over all the first subject will seem put together as the second on will seem a mess. Schedule: 9/30/22: We will create the story board. 10/1/22 Discuss Props, Location, and new ideas.  10/6/22: We will start filming and continue discussing new ideas. 10/8/22: We will complete filming. 10/9/22: We will start editing our film and discuss if we need to make any changes.
