Editing

I uploaded the raw footage and audio files. Organized scenes in a structured timeline. Trimmed excess footage for narrative flow. Smoothed cuts with transitions. Experimented with pacing techniques. Adjusted color grading for mood. Incorporated visual effects for emphasis. Fine-tuned audio for impact. Used text overlays for dialogue. Explored various camera angles. Considered flashback sequences for context. Employed split-screen effects for action. Tested different editing styles. Collaborated with others for feedback. Focused on pacing and rhythm. Manipulated audio for effect. Corrected color for consistency. Incorporated visual storytelling elements. Aimed for balanced engagement. Reviewed for continuity and coherence. Exported the final film for my blog.

Set plan

We will meet at Dania beach nature trails and park. Then we have a 20 minute walk to our filming location. Once arrived w can start and get into costume. We can also plan on what bushes' we can use that the camera can barely see us on the trail. The trail is deeply vegetated with mangroves and animals. Most animals there are crabs and lizards almost everywhere on the trail. A popular breading ground for them as its prefect environment. The plan is to show these animals on film that would decompose the body. The killer hides the body so the animals can decompose it. Our dragging body scene. After that scene Rhys and the police officer arrive. Rhys says I swear the body was right here. Jackson then says to Rhys that he cant do anything without any evidence.  After the cop leaves Rhys is left there alone and the killer chases him out. Rhys manages to through dirt in his eyes and stuns the killer which is me. Wont be very pleasant but hopefully he pretends. Once gotten away Rhys finds

Revised idea

Some of the shots we will use in our film would be long shots, high angles, medium close ups, and establishing shots. The long shots will be used to show the films landscapes and our environment of the film. The high angles will be used to show the vulnerability of Rhys and the innocent jogger. I feel it will also show the power of the killer. Medium close up will be used too get the facial expressions and emotions on film. The establishing shot will give context and location. A medium close up could also be used for intense conversations really capturing the emotion of fear. High angles during the action scenes will be utilized to show the chases. the chases we want to really capture the intenseness and raw emotions one may really be feeling. In a situation like that we want to portray real emotions and we will do that with cameras angles and good acting. Rhys is a decent actor and has done many other films including his AS lvel class. Rhys also has done theter. One of the most import

Change of plans

Sean, Jackson, and another named Sean which is I significantly altered our movie's direction, steering it toward the narrative of a on the loose dangerous serial killer. Our plot starts with Rhys an extra In  our film going for his morning jog through the woods. We will film this on a nature trail so it makes it look more realistic. We will also go early in the morning to film because the trail usually fills up in the after noon. Fills up with tourists and nature walkers, joggers. Our plot will now consist of the murderer which is also the park ranger kills a jogger. Then is then spotted by another jogger which manages to get away from him. The jogger Rhys runs back to his vehicle. First scene in car him calling his friend which then calls the cops. The murderer hides the body. When Rhys returns with the police officer he leads him to the sight of the body. They body is no where to be seen and he swore it was right there. The police doesn't believe him and leaves. Once he leves

Production editing

In our small team, I handle the editing part. It's not just about joining clips; it's about making them fit well and look good.First, I watch all the footage we have. I pick out the best bits that match our story. Then, I use editing software to put everything together. I cut, trim, and arrange the clips to tell our story smoothly.Transitions matter too. I try out different effects to make sure scenes flow nicely.I also check the sound, making sure voices are clear, music sets the mood, and sound effects fit. While I'm busy editing, another team member works on the script. They research, brainstorm ideas, and write the dialogue. We talk a lot during the process, giving feedback and making sure everything fits well together.Editing takes time, so I go through it a few times to get it right.Once we're happy with the final product, we share it with the team for feedback before making any final changes. It feels good to see our hard work pay off. From start to finish, we work t

Production Brain storming

Image
Between me and my group our great minds have came up with many ideas. These ideas spread over a wide range of random but quite interesting ideas for our movie. One of half penny's ideas consisted of sing my puppy dog to film similar to what we did last year. His idea is to have the dog run away and generating a plot and characters and character development through his story. Me and Jackson did have some disagreements with this idea because it would be quite impractical to  transport and train the dog to film in this. Jackson had many idea even though many we shut down but one we all agreed upon was his idea of splitting up the work not much about the actual film. Our plan to split up the work me and Sean Halfpenny will plan and design our movie and the plot. Jackson will run the social media account on Instagram. Sean, Jackson, and another Sean meet up at Jackson's place to chat about their new idea: making a short film about being kidnapped. They're all super excited and

Planning

Welcome back to the blog! This Thursday me and my group made a plan for this weekend to start our filming. On Thursday me Shawn and Jackson had a discussion more of a brain storm about all our potential ideas. So far the plan is to meet over at Jackson’s house around noon. At noon we plan on picking up Shawn and taking him back. Following this we do need an extra man for our video. The extra for our video would be picked up Saturday morning by me. After meeting at Jackson’s he plans on making us good food before we film. Always have to be energized to film for best quality of film. Once filming our opening scenes we were going to head to his local park. At his local park we were going to test out some shots to see how they look. After deciding which angles and scene we want to do we will film a few scenes at the park. Shawn also has a shade lens for the phone to make the sun look more dark. We first plan to be at Jacksons house to film. We will likelty film rhys getting ready for his
