Production Blog: Filming
Me and my group mate started by creating a story board to visualize our ideas and interests with this project. After the process of deciding which ideas we were going to bring into production we got to work. We first started after school to go to the beach and start filming. On the way to the beach we went to a local Publix to pick up the bottled coke. Trying to find parking at the beach was a journey it took abut 20 minutes! After we found 15 dollar parking it was another 5 minute walk to the beach not bad but very hot. The first show took a few tries to get it how we wanted it as a continuous shot. During that day we took multiple breaks because of how hot it was. Since it was very hot outside it was very refreshing to drink some of the coca cola. In between shots and planning we were throwing around a foot ball to have some fun. We sat under a palm tree looking back on our story board. We were looking back at our story board for a scene we almost forgot about. I had to get into my outfit for a scene that required me on the shore line n the seaweed. After shooting the scene I had a ton of sand and seaweed all over my body so I ran into the ocean because it was getting itchy. Also getting into the cool water was nice since it was very humid and hot outside. After finishing up filming we packed up all our things and continued to throw the foot ball around. Before I left me and my groupmate enjoyed a coca cola. Once we left we stopped at an ice cream store because it was way to hot. We accidently left some shoes on the beach so we had to go back and grab them. My groupmates parents were coming to pick them up so we waited. After they arrived I drove home and then started the editing project.
