Production Blog: Sound
Sounds are important in a film. Sounds in a film can enhance the quality of any film. Why are sounds important in a film? Sounds are important because it can immerse the audience in our film. Most of our sound will be diegetic sound coming straight from the natural dialogue and sounds. Diegetic sound is always important in films helps audience understand what is happening on screen. Diegetic sound also shows the viewer the real events that are occurring during the film. The audience also connects with visuals for example if someone was walking on snow the audience would see that and expect next to come the sounds " crunch" " crunch". The audience ant to relate their sense to the film such as visual and hearing. Diegetic sound is generated from any film and is generated while filming. Since most of our sound is diegetic it will help bring the viewers in and keep them invested in our film. We will have a song at the beginning of our film because it can help set the setting early on. The song we will choose will likely be a happy song. A song at the beginning sets the mood for the rest of the film. The mood we want to be displayed is a joyful but slightly angry but comedically mood. We choose a song on YouTube just a generic non copy right song. The generic song is a happy beat with no lyrics. No lyrics we decided to choose because it takes away from the happy beat. The happy beat sets the mood for the rest of the film. The rest of our film will continue that happiness for the audience.
