    For our music video project me and my group have decided to use a Christmas song because it is almost Christmas and our music video will definitely bring joy to people and get them in the spirit of Christmas.. Me and my group mate have decided to use a Mariah Carey song named " All I want For Christmas Is You". 

Using props in any kind of music video is essential to the overall outcome of the video produced to social media. Props like Christmas lights, trees, stuffed bears, fake snow, and large candy props aswell as angel wings are important to the music video because the props and costumes can help bring part of the joy to the viewer. Props are also important because identifies the mood of any kind of song for example if I had ravens and darkness in my Christmas music video that would bring sadness to viewers.

Using costumes are also beneficial to the music video because it can also impacts the viewer emotionally because the costumes along with the props of the music video can hep identify the mood of the music video and how it should make you feel. For example after reading comments on the official music video most comments are along the lines of " Cant wait till Christmas!" or " So excited for Christmas brings joy". The video also uses pathos which is emotional evaluation from viewers. 

Using diegetic sound can also be beneficial to the video because it would be easier to sing along and not a live performance for a video. Using jump cuts to new scenes are also good because it can show different props or areas. Using tracking shots will be good because it can show  the entire area and props and tells a story related to the music video. The high angle shots can also show the whole set along with all the props these are used to show the viewer the props of the set. 

Taking advantage of the overall mood the music video brings is helpful because we can harness it and use it to our advantage by brining joy and happiness to the viewers. After watching a music video for Christmas music we took notes. The notes were that the cameras is always oriented towards the Christmas props. The Christmas props that were always in the shot were snow, nutcrackers, lights, and trees. These props are used to boost the mood the producers want the viewer to feel. When the protagonist was walking around the set she was followed with a cameras a tracking shot and it showed the surrounding props. With plenty of close up shots to show the singer and her costumes. Along with some over the shoulder shots to show the place she is walking into. With middle range shots to show surrounding area.

   The opening credits and title sequence of my film will most likely be in a font called "Jumble." My group and I decided to choose this font of them all since we think it fits the overall mood and genre the best. "Jumble" has a messy, cartoony look to it making it perfect for a comedy. The other options that my group and I looked at were, "Aldhabi," "Ahoroni," and "Ink Free." Aldhabi consists of a roman like style font, which would seems to be more on the sophisticated end. The "Ahoroni" font is a bold caps locked font which started to fit the comedy feel, but could be better such as spacing between lettering. "Ink Free" is a messy font that looks drawn in pencil, it has a very cartoony feel to it which was going to be our alternate font. Planning Blog Scripts

      The movie begins with a tracking shot following a young dog wondering through out the woods. Cutting to a scene where character 1 is convincing character 2 that it will be wise to get a puppy. Character 2 denies and thinks its a bad idea financially and mostly for the characters mental health and sanity. This dialogue will be followed with side shots and tracking as character 2 is frantically pacing convincing their partner/ friend have not decided about their relshonship yet because we aren't sure who will be acting. Following character 2 is convinced this dog will be the end of him because of  all the trouble of having a puppy.  I am excited to be back and working with the same group because of our ability to work together. This time around me and my group may add an extra person to help us succeed with editing. We want someone good at editing because of their ability to do what we can't do. Since preforming well on the commercial we sinned changed around a few people because of the poor editing skills. The music video also went well because of our new group mate that was alone bed\fore our project ha started. Since our group is well put together, we started organizing our project better because of new group mates that forced their habits on us. Thus, was beneficial to us because of the new habits that were good. These habits included good organization and advanced vocabulary towards this project.
